KilimoChills Solution, my solar-powered cold storage innovation, was among the five winning projects of the Arthur Waser Solar and Mechatronic Innovation Competition 2025. The solution provides affordable, energy-efficient cooling for smallholder farmers, reducing post-harvest losses and food waste. By combining renewable energy with sustainable design, KilimoChills promotes climate resilience, supports local farmers, and advances SDGs 2 (Zero Hunger), 7 (Clean Energy), 12 (Responsible Consumption), and 13 (Climate Action).
