As the Youth Leader for Umoja Youth Group in Kibera from 2021 to now, I lead initiatives that impact the local community by addressing climate change through education and action. I developed and implemented a six-month program that educated over 200 young people about practical climate action, achieving an 85% completion rate. Additionally, I spearheaded a project to clean a communal river and clear a long-neglected dumpsite, both of which are still maintained by the community. This experience honed my skills in program development, community engagement, and project management, all of which are key to creating sustainable, positive change.

Till date, I have worked with over 1000 youth in Kibera on sustainability and innovation awareness projects to better our community.
